In the next three years, prices for video conferencing solutions will not be reduced

IT-Solutions: Video conferencing will become cheaper with the advent of competition in the market

This forecast is the development of video conferencing market situation gave the head of the Department of unified communications company IT-Solutions Zimin, Ivan.

According to him, today the demand for videoconferencing products in Ukraine is increasing continuously, while the proposal in the niche of SCD remains practically unchanged. The market is already well-established leaders who occupy almost the entire segment of the video conferencing (including manufacturers of video conferencing hardware solutions, for example, Tandberg, Polycom, LifeSize, including software-TrueConf, Webex). At the same time, Chinese players who could bring a reduction in the availability and prices for video conferencing products are in no hurry to enter the Ukrainian market. For this reason, the price of video conferencing in the next three years will remain at the same level as in 2012.

This year it is expected that the price of video conferencing hardware solutions will oscillate at 7-10 thousand dollars per user, while the prices of software solutions – 1 – 1.5 thousand dollars.
