User Security

User Security

According to statistics, more than 80% of successful cyberattacks begin with compromised credentials or an employee’s actions — clicking a phishing link, using a weak password, or connecting from an unsecured device. Perimeter security alone cannot protect the organization if a person inside the network becomes an entry point for an attacker.

User security is a combination of technical solutions and processes designed to protect corporate resources from threats associated with user accounts, devices, and employee activity. IT-Solutions implements these solutions as a unified security system rather than a set of disconnected tools.

Key Solutions

Identity and Access Management (IAM/PAM). Centralized management of user accounts, roles, and access rights. Each employee has access only to the resources required for their job — and nothing more. Privileged administrator accounts are protected separately using Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions.

Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA). Identity verification using multiple independent factors: a password plus a push notification in a mobile application, a hardware token, or biometrics. Even if a password is compromised, an attacker cannot access the system without the second authentication factor.

Endpoint Protection (EDR/XDR). Endpoint Detection and Response solutions protect workstations, laptops, and mobile devices by detecting and blocking malware, monitoring suspicious process behavior, and automatically responding to security incidents.

Email Security. Filtering phishing emails, malicious attachments, and spoofed senders at the email gateway level — before messages reach an employee’s inbox.

Data Encryption. Disk encryption on endpoint devices (BitLocker, FileVault) ensures that corporate data remains inaccessible if a device is lost or stolen. Encryption of communication channels protects data during transmission.

User Activity Monitoring (UEBA). Detection of anomalous behavior, such as unusual login times, access to atypical resources, or mass file copying. User and Entity Behavior Analytics (UEBA) solutions help identify potential insider threats and compromised accounts.

Who We Work With

  • Microsoft — Azure Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID for IAM/MFA, and Microsoft Defender for Endpoint for endpoint protection
  • CrowdStrike — Falcon platform for EDR/XDR and advanced threat protection
  • IDIRA (CyberArk) — Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions
  • Fortinet — FortiClient for endpoint protection and VPN

What We Do

  • Audit the current state of account and endpoint security
  • Implement MFA and IAM/PAM solutions
  • Deploy and configure EDR/XDR platforms
  • Configure email security
  • Implement endpoint encryption
  • Configure user activity monitoring
  • Develop and implement password and access policies
