Designed and implemented a universal remote working solution
Challenge
In 2020, the company needed to provide its employees with convenient virtual desktops and stable, secure remote access to their work environments.
Solution
IT-Solutions conducted a PoC (Proof of Concept) to configure a stable and secure remote working environment, which received positive feedback from both users and administrators. Based on the pilot, a universal remote working solution was designed, allowing the platform to scale according to the customer’s needs.
As part of the project, a VMware hyperconverged infrastructure was built on Dell EMC hardware. This integrated solution provides centralized management and simplified scalability while improving the flexibility and efficiency of the data center infrastructure. IT-Solutions specialists designed and implemented the hyperconverged cluster and deployed VMware software on it.
Result
As a result, a VDI infrastructure was deployed, enabling the customer’s users to work securely and reliably from anywhere in the world. Global Bilgi can continue providing services to its customers in accordance with established SLAs.
The first phase of the project involved deploying the system for 200 users. The platform can be further scaled with minimal investment, without downtime or maintenance windows. To add new users, the customer simply needs to deploy additional nodes.
